Baseball Recap: Quartz Hill Comes Up Short

Quartz Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 5-2 to the Thurston Colts.

Quartz Hill saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blake Johnson, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Quartz Hill's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Thurston, the win (which was their 28th in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Quartz Hill didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Mountain Pointe on the 26th. As for Thurston, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-4 victory against Maine West on the 25th.
