After a string of five wins, Judah Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Midland Timberwolves by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tribe of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Avoni Kelly paced Judah Christian's offense, picking up 11 kills. Kelly got some help from Mackenzie Jackson and her 22 assists. Olivia Daily controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Judah Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Midland, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Coming up, Judah Christian is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Armstrong at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Midland, they will challenge Princeville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
