Football Game Preview: Guernsey-Sunrise vs. Saratoga

Saratoga may have come out ahead in their last contest, but they shouldn't get too cocky given who is up next. On Friday they take on Guernsey-Sunrise at JV at 7:00 PM. Both teams worked hard to overcome the odds in their previous battles and are not about to give an easy one away.

After a disappointing 0 points in the game before, Saratoga made sure to put some points up on the board against Dubois last Saturday. Everything came up roses for Saratoga against Dubois as the team secured a 68-6 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-6.

Meanwhile, Guernsey-Sunrise faced NSI Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Guernsey-Sunrise walked away with a 79-65 victory over NSI Academy. Yes, you read that final score correctly. Yes, this was football.

Their wins bumped Guernsey-Sunrise to 2-2 and Saratoga to 1-2. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
