Baseball Recap: St. Dominic Crusaders vs. Webster Groves Statesmen
St. Dominic proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by seven) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Webster Groves Statesmen. The two-run effort marked the Crusaders' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Noah Price looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He is becoming a predictor of St. Dominic's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is undefeated (and 2-3 when he doesn't).
At the plate, Chase Hoff was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. That hit was his first of the season.
