Basketball Recap: Cathedral Extends Road Winning Streak to Four

Cathedral can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Weymouth Wildcats 62-60. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 110th, while the Wildcats are ranked 267th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cathedral pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Weymouth, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
