Game recap: Columbine High School Football Team wins against Lakewood

Columbine (Littleton, Colo.) and Lakewood (Colo.) couldn't stop each other, but eventually Columbine (Littleton, Colo.) came away with the 50-29 victory.

The Rebels scored 22 points in the second quarter on two passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown.

After taking the lead on a Bernard McDondle touchdown run in the first quarter, Columbine led 43-7 at the half.

The loss comes after Lakewood defeated Arapahoe 46-39 last week. With the win CHS extended its winning streak to three games.

Columbine (7-1) will play a 5A Super 6 game against Bear Creek next week, while Lakewood (2-6) will take on Mullen also in a 5A Super 6 game.
