Baseball Game Preview: Mount Vernon Knights vs. Port Chester Rams

Mount Vernon is 0-9 against Port Chester since April of 2018 but things could change on Monday. The Knights will head out to square off against the Rams at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Mount Vernon is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their tenth straight game on Thursday. They lost 11-2 to Edgemont.

Meanwhile, Port Chester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against John Jay, falling 12-1.

Mount Vernon's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Port Chester, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.

Mount Vernon might still be hurting after the 13-2 loss they got from Port Chester in their previous matchup back in April. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
