Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Archmere Academy

Archmere Academy waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the St. Elizabeth Vikings by a score of 4-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Auks also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2025.

Zachary Buchta looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Nick Schwartz was incredible, going 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Shane Harding, who earned one RBI, one run, and one stolen base.

Archmere Academy's record now sits at 11-5. As for St. Elizabeth, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

Coming up, Archmere Academy will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Sanford at 4:00 p.m. As for St. Elizabeth, they are taking a road trip to challenge McKean at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
