Basketball Recap: Thomasville Find Success

Thomasville's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They walked away with a 63-52 victory over the East Davidson Golden Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Despite the loss, East Davidson still got an impressive performance from Tegin Hedrick, who posted 26 points. The game was Hedrick's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Landin Newton, who earned ten points.

Thomasville's win bumped their record up to 6-12. As for East Davidson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thomasville will welcome West Davidson at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Thomasville is facing West Davidson at the right time seeing as West Davidson is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for East Davidson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Rowan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in North Rowan's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven matchups.
