Passaic County Tech had won four straight at home, but on Thursday they bumped their record up to 7-2 to make it five. They put the hurt on the Westwood Cardinals with a sharp 11-1 win. Considering the Bulldogs have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Westwood, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-4 record. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since April 2nd.

For Westwood's part, Nick Klein made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run. That home run marked the first that Klein has launched this season.

Coming up, Passaic County Tech will head out to take on Union City at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Westwood, they will welcome Paramus Catholic at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
