Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Cedar Park couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 43-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wakeland Wolverines on Friday. The Timberwolves' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Cedar Park's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trae Samuel Frost Hill, who rushed for 223 yards and three TDs. Samuel Frost Hill's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 135 rushing yards. David Cooper was another key player, rushing for 122 yards and one score on only 11 carries.

Cedar Park's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Wakeland, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

Cedar Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wakeland, they have already played their next game, a 47-20 defeat against Highland Park on the 28th.
