Softball Recap: Logan County Cougars vs. Bowling Green Purples

Logan County can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent match on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Bowling Green Purples a 10-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what Logan County needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.

Shayla Johnson made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Johnson has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings every time she's pitched this season.
