Volleyball Recap: Nathan Walsh and Braeden Gallagher Secure Win for Granby

After losing to Holyoke the last time they met, Granby decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Rams had just enough and edged out the Purple Knights 3-2.

Granby took Holyoke into a fifth set where they got it done with a 12-point win. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 15-25, 21-25, 25-19, 15-3.

Leading Granby to victory were Braeden Gallagher and Nathan Walsh. Gallagher had 15 kills, 11 digs, and two aces, while Walsh had nine digs and one block. Gallagher has been hot, having posted five or more kills the last seven times he's played. Brandon Chatel was another key player, getting six digs, three blocks, and three aces.

Granby's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Holyoke, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Granby has already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Athol on the 9th. Holyoke has also already played their next matchup (against Sabis International), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
