Soccer Recap: Capital Comes Up Short

Capital managed to keep up with Boise until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Golden Eagles lost 3-0 to the Brave. If Capital were looking for revenge after losing 5-0 to Boise when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Capital's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Boise, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That lines up perfectly with their 4-1-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Capital is set to square off against their familiar foe Eagle at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Boise will challenge rival Mountain View at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
