Basketball Game Preview: Otis Bulldogs vs. Arickaree Bison

The Otis Bulldogs will challenge the Arickaree Bison at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Otis will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Last Friday, Otis didn't have too much trouble with Prairie as they won 62-46. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 105th, while the Mustangs are ranked 238th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Arickaree's game on Friday was all tied up 24-24 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 47-38 victory over Idalia.

Arickaree's win came from a few key players Otis will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Zarron Skubal, who went 6 for 7 en route to 14 points. Another player making a difference was Jake King, who posted 12 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists.

Otis pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.8 points. As for Arickaree, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-5.
