After losing to Christian Heritage the last time they met, Overton decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Mustangs came out on top against the Sentinels by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Mustangs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Overton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-15, 25-13, 25-18.

Overton's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Christian Heritage, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Overton will face off against Kilgore at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Christian Heritage, they will challenge Union Hill at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
