Baseball Recap: North Branch Starts Season with Loss at Home

North Branch unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 7-0 to the Big Lake Hornets on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Lucas Goggin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on 11 hits and racked up eight Ks.
