If Madison Christian was riding high fresh off their 12-2 takedown of Shekinah Christian on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles lost 15-3 to the Bexley Lions on Saturday. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Madison Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lexi Miles, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. Miles is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least two every time she's taken the field this season. Another was Chloe Rice, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Madison Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Bexley, their win bumped their record up to 5-11.

Coming up, Madison Christian will host Northside Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 20.71 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Bexley, they will head out to face off against Whitehall-Yearling at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. The Lions are facing the Rams at the right time seeing as the Rams are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
