Basketball Recap: Lilah Clark Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Westview

Deer Valley won the last time they faced Westview and things went their way on Thursday too. The Deer Valley Skyhawks took down the Westview Knights 45-30.

Deer Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lilah Clark led the charge by putting up 18 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. Clark is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Romero, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 boards.

Deer Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in eight consecutive matchups.
