Flag Football Game Preview: Basha Bears vs. Perry Pumas + How To Watch

The Basha Bears are taking a road trip to take on the Perry Pumas at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Basha is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.

Perry's offense is going to have their work cut out for them on Monday: Basha hadn't allowed a single point the last three times they've hit the field. The Bears blew past West Point 42-0 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won four matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

Amiah Walker was nothing short of spectacular: she threw for 233 yards and four TDs while picking up 10.6 yards per attempt. That's the most passing touchdowns she has posted since back in November of 2024.

Basha didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Bella Dunlap, Tifaimoana Tuitele, and Victoria Beakes picked up one apiece.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Perry's offense. They were dealt a 49-0 defeat at the hands of Hamilton on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Pumas in their meetings with the Huskies: they've now lost three in a row.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Basha, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Basha took their victory against Perry when the teams last played back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 21-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
