The Lutheran South Academy Pioneers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They really took it to Kelly Catholic for the full four quarters, racking up a 85-43 victory at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Lutheran South Academy has managed all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lutheran South Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaylen Walker, who scored 22 points along with six rebounds. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Hughes, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Kelly Catholic's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bodie Moore, who scored 14 points along with three steals. Moore is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Munro Nichols, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.

The win (which was Lutheran South Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 10-11. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points per game. As for Kelly Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 10-18.

Lutheran South Academy will head out on the road to face off against St. John XXIII at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. St. John XXIII is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for Kelly Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Second Baptist at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
