The Desert Hills Thunder will venture away from home to challenge the Pine View Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Desert Hills is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Desert Hills' defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against Cedar by a score of 2-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Desert Hills were the better team in the second half.

Todd Simister was the driving force of Desert Hills' attack as he scored both of Desert Hills' goals, bringing his season total up to eight goals.

Meanwhile, Pine View fell victim to Dixie and their airtight defense on Friday. They fell just short of the Flyers by a score of 1-0. Pine View have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The win made it two in a row for Desert Hills and bumps their season record up to 10-2. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for Pine View, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

Everything went Desert Hills' way against Pine View when the teams last played back in March, as Desert Hills made off with a 4-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Thunder since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
