New Town scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 68-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Boys Latin Lakers. The loss was New Town's first of the season.

New Town's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-1. As for Boys Latin, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

New Town will challenge Carver A&T on Wednesday. As for Boys Latin, they will take on Mount St. Joseph at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
