Baseball Recap: Fieldcrest Takes a Loss

Fieldcrest blew LeRoy out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday LeRoy got their revenge. The Knights fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 10-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Knights have suffered since May 13, 2024.

Fieldcrest's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for LeRoy, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Coming up, Fieldcrest will venture away from home to face off against Putnam County at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for LeRoy, they will host Cornerstone Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers are facing the Cyclones at the right time seeing as the Cyclones are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
