Softball Recap: Seymour Takes a Loss

Seymour was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 7-3 to the Quincy Blue Devils. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 12-8 to the Blue Devils when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Seymour's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8-1. As for Quincy, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-7 record.

Looking ahead, Seymour will take on Augusta Southeastern at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Quincy, they will face off against Geneseo at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blue Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Maple Leafs have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season.
