Football Game Preview: Rowland Raiders vs. Diamond Bar Brahmas + How To Watch

The Rowland Raiders will square off against the Diamond Bar Brahmas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Rowland has four straight victories, Diamond Bar has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Last Friday, Rowland really took it to Nogales for the full four quarters, racking up a 42-6 win. Fans of the Raiders have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rowland to victory, but perhaps none more so than Damien Arrieta, who rushed for 67 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. That's the most rushing yards Arrieta has posted since back in October of 2024. Another back making a difference was Bryce Johnson, who rushed for 81 yards and one score on only seven carries.

Meanwhile, Diamond Bar suffered their closest defeat since August 23, 2024 two weeks ago. They fell just short of Grand Terrace by a score of 34-32.

Rowland will have to contain Dominic Tortorelli as he made an impact in Diamond Bar's last game. He rushed for 244 yards and three TDs while picking up 12.2 yards per carry. With that strong performance, Tortorelli is now averaging an impressive 110 rushing yards per game. Caleb Jorgensen was in the mix too, providing Diamond Bar with one touchdown.

Rowland's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Diamond Bar, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Rowland was taken down by Diamond Bar 49-13 when the teams last played back in September of 2022. Thankfully for the Raiders, Isaiah 'Zay' Young (who rushed for 187 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 11.7 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time.
