Basketball Recap: Prairie View Buffalos vs. Osawatomie Trojans
Prairie View lost against Osawatomie last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Prairie View Buffalos had to suffer through a 78-31 loss at the hands of the Osawatomie Trojans.
Jasper Sallee was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds for Osawatomie. The dominant performance also gave Sallee a new career-high in steals (five). Colby Durham also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.
Prairie View's defeat was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8-1. As for Osawatomie, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.
Prairie View didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 44-42 victory against Erie on the 24th. Osawatomie has also already played their next contest (against Fredonia), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
