Baseball Game Preview: Sheboygan South Redwings vs. Sheboygan North Golden Raiders

Sheboygan South is 0-9 against Sheboygan North since April of 2017 but things could change on Friday. The Redwings will take on the Golden Raiders at 4:30 p.m. Sheboygan South has given up an average of 15.2 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Sheboygan South is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 24th straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They came up short against Green Bay Preble, falling 12-2. On the bright side, the two- run performance marked the Redwings' highest-scoring contest to date.

Sheboygan South saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Bohman, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. That hit marked the first that Bohman got this season.

Sheboygan North not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 13, 2024. They put the hurt on Catholic Memorial with a sharp 10-0 victory.

Brett Rybarczyk was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits over five innings pitched. Rybarczyk was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, Mark Williams was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Eric Paarmann was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

Sheboygan North always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .533. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Catholic Memorial only posted an OBP of .188.

Sheboygan South's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Sheboygan North, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.
