Softball Preview: East Lawrence Eagles vs. Colbert County Indians
The East Lawrence Eagles will head out to take on the Colbert County Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. East Lawrence is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.
East Lawrence fell victim to Oswego and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 6-0 to the Panthers.
Meanwhile, Colbert County also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell just short of James Clemens by a score of 2-0 on Friday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Colbert County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mallory Gargis, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.
