Basketball Recap: Falmouth Takes a Loss

Falmouth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Marshwood Hawks and fell 77-25. The Navigators lost against the Hawks in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 58-43 score last time.

Falmouth's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Marshwood, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Falmouth will take on Deering in a holiday battle at at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Falmouth is facing Deering at the right time seeing as Deering is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Marshwood and Gray-New Gloucester will compete for holiday cheer at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Gray-New Gloucester will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Marshwood surely won't give up without a fight.
