Soccer Game Preview: Olympus vs. Woods Cross

The Olympus Titans will challenge the Woods Cross Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Olympus' favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Woods Cross has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

Woods Cross better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Olympus' game on Monday is any indication, that's when Olympus really gets things going. The Titans never let Brighton get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. Olympus might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by three goals or more this season.

Keira Bradley and Claire Christensen scored all three of Olympus' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Meanwhile, Woods Cross' game on Monday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Viewmont.

Woods Cross' win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Olympus, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4.

Olympus skirted past Woods Cross 2-1 when the teams last played back in September. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
