Volleyball Recap: ALA - Ironwood Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact ALA - Ironwood can now relate to. They came up short against the Benjamin Franklin Chargers on Friday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Chargers: they've now lost six in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17, 25-15.

ALA - Ironwood's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Benjamin Franklin, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-10 record this season.

ALA - Ironwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Benjamin Franklin, they will square off against Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Chargers surely won't give up without a fight.
