Softball Recap: Seven Straight Home Wins for Aquinas

With a playoff win on the line, Aquinas rose to the challenge on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Rio Mesa Spartans 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Falcons have posted since March 18th.

Aquinas' win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-10. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Rio Mesa, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-10.
