He has become a key player for Heritage Academy: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 0-3 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of David Mota, who scored two runs and stole four bases while getting on base in two of his five plate appearances.

Heritage Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season. Thursday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Gila Bend has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .502.
