Liberty Tree Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a blow against the Chadron Cardinals, falling 97-39. While losing is never fun, the War Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 282nd in Colorado, while the Cardinals are ranked 116th in Nebraska).

Liberty Tree Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Chadron, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
