Volleyball Recap: Meridian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Meridian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Capital Golden Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

While Meridian ultimately came up short, they really made Capital work, particularly in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-17, 21-25, 25-23, 26-24.

Meridian now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Capital, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Meridian will face off against rival Kuna at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Capital is set to challenge their familiar foe Ridgevue at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
