Softball Recap: Seton Lasalle's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

After a string of four wins, Seton LaSalle's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They lost 11-4 to the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chargers. The Rebels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2019.

Kamyia Morris made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two triples, one run, and one RBI. Those triples marked the first that she hit this season. Another player making a difference was Mariya Chajkowski, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Seton LaSalle suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 4-2. As for Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seton LaSalle will welcome Burgettstown at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rebels will need to watch out since the Blue Devils have now posted at least ten runs in their last four matches. As for Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Carlynton at 5:15 p.m.
