Softball Recap: Upper Moreland Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Upper Moreland). They put the hurt on the Lower Moreland Lions with a sharp 17-1 win on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Upper Moreland pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.6 runs over those games. As for Lower Moreland, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
