Basketball Recap: Byrd Comes Up Short

Byrd lost against Booker T. Washington-Shreveport back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Yellow Jackets fell 41-36 to the Lions. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Byrd's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Booker T. Washington-Shreveport, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Byrd and Booker T. Washington-Shreveport will both be playing Logansport the next time they take the court. The Yellow Jackets will head out to face the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Lions will head out to face them at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
