Basketball Recap: Elberta Takes a Loss

Elberta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Williamson Lions 107-35. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 328th, while the Lions are ranked 37th).

Elberta's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Williamson, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Elberta will take on Rain at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Elberta is facing Rain at the right time seeing as Rain is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Williamson, they are taking a road trip to take on UMS-Wright Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
