Basketball Recap: Lincoln Park Comes Up Short

Lincoln Park lost against Perspectives Leadership/Technology back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Sunday. The Lincoln Park Lions were beaten by the Perspectives Leadership/Technology Warriors 59-25. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Perspectives Leadership/Technology's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Karla Thomas, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 boards. Thomas has become a key player for Perspectives Leadership/Technology: the team is 2-1 when she posts at least ten rebounds, but 3-5 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Kaylin Morgan, who posted 14 points and six rebounds.

Lincoln Park's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Perspectives Leadership/Technology, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-6.

Lincoln Park didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-22 loss against Amundsen on the 30th. As for Perspectives Leadership/Technology, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 48-42 victory against Rich Township on the 30th.
