Softball Recap: Thomas A. Edison Sets Scoring Season-High Against Roxborough

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Thomas A. Edison had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 20-5 margin over the Roxborough Wolves. The Owls' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Carmen Ramos was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, eight RBI, and one triple. Those eight RBI gave her a new career-high. Omalis Rivera was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

Thomas A. Edison was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .739. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .360 or higher in seven consecutive matches.

Thomas A. Edison's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Roxborough, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
