While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Pioneers 25-22 in the first set.

Julez Brown paced Vienna's offense, picking up 11 kills. Brown got some help from Ayva Rush and her 26 assists. Ella Kreuter controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Vienna's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 26-8. As for Trico, they pushed their record up to 30-3 with the win, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.
