Basketball Recap: Bartlett Comes Up Short

Bartlett had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were dealt a 71-40 defeat at the hands of the Ridgeline Falcons on Thursday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ridgeline to victory, but perhaps none more so than Grace Sheridan, who almost dropped a double-double with 21 points and nine boards. Sheridan has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Madilyn Crowley was another key player, dropping a double-double with 22 points and ten rebounds.

The victory (which was Ridgeline's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Bartlett has already played their next matchup, a 77-62 win against Barrow on the 19th. As for Ridgeline, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 54-53 loss against Wasilla on the 19th.
