Softball Recap: Forks Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Forks entered their tilt with Non Varsity Opponent on Tuesday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past Non Varsity Opponent 12-5. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Chloe Gaydeski spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on four hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Avery Dilley, who went 2-for-3 with five RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. Bailey Johnson was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.
