Baseball Recap: Sickles Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Sickles couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Palmetto Tigers by a score of 5-4 on Thursday. The Gryphons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 9-1.

Braden Ross and Jordan Yost did some serious damage despite the final result: Ross went 2-for-3 with three RBI, while Yost went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Yost has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.
