Everything went their way against the Harlandale Indians on Saturday as they made off with a 14-1 victory. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.
The team relied heavily on Roland Bazaldua, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Rodriguez, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI.
South San Antonio always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .568. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Harlandale only posted an OBP of .261.
South San Antonio's win bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Harlandale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 16 of their last 17 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-20 record this season.
