Volleyball Recap: Jurupa Hills Triumphs

Jurupa Hills's tournament run continued when they took on Moreno Valley on Saturday. The Spartans came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Whitney Smith paced Jurupa Hills' offense, picking up seven kills. Smith got some help from Brooke Mendoza and her ten assists. Aleida Nunez controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

The victory got Jurupa Hills back to even at 7-7. As for Moreno Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Jurupa Hills wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Indian Springs on the 6th. Moreno Valley has also already played their next contest (against West Covina), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
