Volleyball Recap: Rose Monfrey's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Mountain City Christian Academy over Palmer + How To Watch

Mountain City Christian Academy lost against Palmer back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Moose. While the Lions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Moose 25-17 in the first set.

Mountain City Christian Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-15, 27-25, 25-12.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Rose Monfrey, who had 11 digs and one assist.

Mountain City Christian Academy's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 19-19-2. As for Palmer, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-18-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Mountain City Christian Academy nor Palmer have any future games scheduled.
