Bosco Tech is 0-4 against St. Monica since March of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Tigers will take on the Mariners at 3:15 p.m. St. Monica took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Bosco Tech, who comes in off a win.
Having struggled with 16 defeats in a row, Bosco Tech turned things around against Glendale on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Dynamiters. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted since February 21st.

Aidan Ramos and Kaysen Duhamel were major factors while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Ramos tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Duhamel didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Bosco Tech is 2-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 2-17 otherwise. At the plate, Ramos went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI, while Duhamel went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most doubles Ramos has posted since back in April of 2025.
In other batting news, David Gomez was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Daniel Longoria also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
Bosco Tech hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 3-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.
Meanwhile, St. Monica lost 20-1 to Paraclete on Thursday.
St. Monica saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joey Parra, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.
St. Monica's loss dropped their record down to 5-15-1. As for Bosco Tech, their record is now 4-18.
Bosco Tech suffered a grim 13-2 defeat to St. Monica when the teams last played back in April of 2021. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
